We Give Back

Our Mission

Our mission as an organization is to continue to create and expand financial support to advance women’s academic goals throughout their collegiate experience.

Our goal

Our long-term objective is to steadily expand the endowment so we can offer progressively greater financial assistance to women, ensuring that as college costs climb, more students receive the sustained support they need to complete their education and pursue careers that benefit themselves and their communities.

Created in 1996, this non-profit organization gives back scholarship money to the active chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at K-State

What We Give

  • We award $100 for a GPA of 4.0 per semester

  • We give a $75 scholarship for a GPA equal to or better than 3.7 for each of the fall and spring semesters.

  • Recipients must be currently enrolled full time (minimum of 12 hours) at KSU

  • Recipients must be current active members of the Gamma Alpha chapter of Kansas State University

Over the last 30 years, the Fairchild Terrace Scholarship Foundation has given over $250,000 to the active women of the chapter through scholarship support.

Sisters of ‘75 Fund

In addition to scholarships for academic excellence, through the “Sisters of ‘75” fund, the FTSF makes emergency grants available for women faced with financial difficulties because of unforeseen and unexpected circumstances beyond their control which might prevent the completion of their academic year’s work. This emergency assistance has been awarded on three occasions.
